International Human Rights Law with Nora Mbagathi

This week we’ll be sitting down with Nora Mbagathi, a Senior Associate Legal Officer at the Open Society Foundation. In the episode we discuss what the Open Society Foundation is, tackle the thematic topics of digital rights and statelessness, and how African jurisprudence is at the cutting edge of human rights issues and solutions.

Outside of these topics, we discuss Nora’s career journey - particularly pursuing a law degree in the US as opposed to the UK, the obstacles in gaining work experience in Human Rights as a graduate, and the difference between an International Human Rights Lawyer and a Human Rights Litigator.
